Silverado Studios has officially initiated work on "Saved by Grace" which is an episodic reality-based series focused on The Grace Foundation of Northern California, an equine rescue and rehabilitation facility located in El Dorado Hills, CA.

Grace provides critical care and rehabilitation for abused and neglected horses and they utilize rescued horses for equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs for youth and children.

"Saved by Grace" will be shot in high definition with many of the sequences and transitions being shot in 4K on Silverado's RED ONE. Principal production work has been assigned to Kevin Beck and Jaime Tafoya.

We're very excited to be working with Grace's executive director Beth DeCaprio and her staff on this project. The website for "Saved by Grace" will post shortly with more details.

More festival news for "The Killing of Mary Surratt"

"Having waited on pins and needles for a few weeks now for follow-up word from this particular festival, we wanted to pass along to you that we got the call last night that "Mary" has indeed been chosen for the 52nd Rochester International Film Festival in New York. "Mary" will play on Saturday, April 24th at 4pm."

"One of just 30 films chosen from around the world, it has the amazing honor of playing at the George Eastman House Museum (as in "Eastman Kodak"), the national landmark mansion and international archive museum in Rochester. While we wish we could go to this one as well, we can't, so we thought we'd pass along the info on it should you happen to have friends or family who might want to attend. Film(s) chosen as a favorite by the audiences will tour the country as part of their BEST of the FEST collection."

"The Rochester International Film Festival, the world's oldest continuously-held short film festival, has been presented each year since 1959. Each festival includes a wide variety of narrative films, documentaries, and animations submitted by independent filmmakers from all parts of the world. RIFF screens animations, comedies, documentaries and narratives and evaluates filmmaking, acting, writing, cinematography and all technological aspects and cinematic qualities. Each film selected for the festival is awarded a Trophy, and then appreciative movie-wise audiences will view the work at the prestigious Dryden Theatre at George Eastman House, the world's premiere museum of photography and film in Rochester, NY."

"Our entry might also be included in the permanent traveling collection, The Best of the Fest, which includes the most popular films from previous festivals based on audience surveys taken at each show. Thanks again to all of you for your work and support of this film."

Festival news for "Broken Hill"

Take a click over to the Awards section above to see a ton of updates for "Broken Hill" directed by Dagen Merrill.
